Foundation

Students learn to observe and understand physical objects and the world around them. They acquire basic drawing and painting skills and make 2D and 3D works using computers. This stage is for students who study arts and design for the first time, to explore what the eld actually involves and whether they have an aptitude for, and interests in, the field.

Prep Stage

Students compile portfolio for the admission and acquire skills which they will put to practical use in their professional career. They learn creative thinking, hands-on making, raising problems and solving them. Students also collaborate with Prep Master students for various projects to exchange knowledge and experience.

Prep Master

Prep Master is the primacy of the 1-5 Design Lab’s educational programs. It is a preparatory course for students applying for graduate admissions to art and design schools in Korea and overseas. Students learn to be critical and responsible for their creations. We prepare interviews, review admission essays and guide study plans in Korean and/or English.
